The word ‘apocalypse’ comes from the Greek ‘apokalupsis’, which means “to reveal”. The metaphorical ‘destruction of the earth’ as described in the bible’s Book of Revelations talks about the end of the old and a “new earth” to come. This great transformation is underway now and this is a sacred time to be alive to witness it and to be a part of it.

So far in this series, we have looked at how ‘evil’ (or narcissism or Dark Side) has thrived in the people who are less evolved or who have never healed their trauma. Now we shall look at how this evil mindset has thrived in the systems that were devised to control power in the world. Once we see the evil inherent within the systems that control us, we cannot ‘un-see’ it and it is everywhere. And this is the Great Reveal promised to us at the end of this epoch. We are now getting to see how Dark Side has come to control the world through the world’s systems in ways that have created great harm and suffering on our planet.

In this blog we will look at how power is controlled on earth by this under-evolved mindset and rarely is power distributed in the way that we have been led to believe that it is. The ‘American Dream’, for instance, promises that if you work hard you could become ‘wealthy’, no matter what your start in life has been. The truth, however, is that class strata are extremely difficult to and those who begin with privilege succeed much more readily than those who begin without.

An Inherent Inequality

There is an inherent inequality on earth that runs through nearly all of the systems here that we live among and our experience on earth is directly impacted by these systems that govern us, feed us, employ us, keep us healthy, determine our life expectancy, how educated we become, how much prejudice we are subjected to, the amount of taxes that we pay, etc. The quality of our lives is dependent upon these systems and there is an intentional inequality that runs throughout them and they are what has allowed so much of the harm on the planet today.

The systems under which we live are corrupt, and this corruption has been intentionally designed into the systems in order that the vast majority are controlled, for the benefit of a few. It is true to say that the people who designed these systems were compassionless for ‘others’ and the systems reflect this. It is also true to say that good people today, working within these corrupt systems, will most likely not know that the systems are corrupt. And, even if they did know, they would find it extremely difficult to act independently of them, meaning that the systems are more powerful than the individuals within them. The people who stand to benefit from the systems tend to be the people who control them and these people control the world. And that is what we are seeing playing out in the world today; the billionaire classes control the media, politics, the financial systems, wealth itself and how wealth is distributed. Power on this planet is owned and controlled by, and for, the very wealthy.

The systems are hierarchical and are designed for those at the very top of those hierarchies, the very wealthy, to retain control of their wealth and power. Farther down the hierarchies are built-in systemic prejudices that are classist, racist, sexist, heteronormative, sectarian and ruthlessly bigoted. These prejudices support a select class, gender, ethos, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion and even culture. If you are the “right” colour, religion, class, gender, etc., you are “rewarded” with privilege. And inherent within this prejudice is a distinct ‘under-evolved’ perspective that admires ruthlessness and ‘power-over’ (which are central traits of narcissism).

It is inevitable that the systems controlled by this ‘ruthlessness and power-over’ mindset will eventually divide the world into those who support these methods and those who do not. As more people become aware of the true nature of these systems, this division will become deeper and the systems themselves will be challenged at a collective level.

Dark Side’s Superpower

As the hierarchies of Dark Side fall, the superpower that Dark Side used to conceal itself all of this time is falling with it, which was that no-one knew that it was there. It stayed hidden in the shadows, not revealing itself to its hosts (those whom it possessed) unless and until the host was in agreement with Dark Side’s overt evil, denying that it had harmful intent, pretending to be democratic and compassionate and just. Or passing itself off as the mind of the traumatised person that it was possessing. Dark Side possessing spirits urged this behaviour in their possessed humans in the form of suggestive thoughts, manipulating an ego and a weak mind, rendering these humans ‘programmed’ and in a trance. A person in this kind of trance serves Dark Side eminently as a source of ‘food’ or fodder, with their life-force, or Source energy, being ebbed from them as that person struggles with the torment of possession illness and for survival.

Why would Dark Side want to ‘feed’ off humans in the first place? Dark Side beings are alive, just like the spirits of living humans. All living beings need to feed. As humans, we have bodies with which to convert food into energy to sustain us. Angels feed from/merge with Source directly in order to be sustained. Dark Side cannot abide Source energy, even though it must consume Light to survive. So, it instead chooses to feed off the life-force of humans who are traumatised and that means that the more trauma that there is in the world, the more energy there is to feed Dark Side’s growing numbers. In fact, all trauma originates with Dark Side, as does narcissism. The story goes, Lucifer, the most beloved of all of the Archangels, fell because of his narcissism and Dark Side was born. And the ‘devil’, the ‘great deceiver’, played the greatest trick on humanity; that he did not exist.

The Great Reveal

And this is the ‘Great Reveal’, that Dark Side has been behind so much of the great harm on our planet, that Dark Side and narcissists invert truth and because they have devised and controlled the systems that run the planet, everything here is the reverse of what we think it is. People are beginning to see the truth about everything, including narcissism (Dark Side) and what great deception has occurred.

Because these systems reward narcissistic traits, it was inevitable that Donald Trump would be elected again and that his approach to governance would be not political, but personal. Because these systems and the power magnates behind them, benefitting from them, are neither ethical norm honest, it means that the carving up of Ukraine for its minerals and Vladimir Putin’s benefit, and the obliteration of Gaza and the massacre of any resisting Palestinians for the benefit of Benjamin Netanyahu and his government are also, sadly, highly likely.

What is yet to be determined is how soon we can all become aware of the catastrophic changes that this energy is capable of wrecking and if we can challenge it before a third world war and/or a global meltdown of all wealth occurs.

The Good News Is That The Old Epoch is Ending

The good news is that, while Dark Side has ruled this world for around one thousand years, the epoch within which these systems have thrived is losing its grip on power and control here. Because of this, structures that belong and serve the agenda of that epoch, will all fall. Many hierarchies of Dark Side have already fallen. (The fall of the Catholic Church began with the exposure of its support for its ubiquitous paedophile priests, for instance.) This epoch that I call the ‘Patriarchal Epoch’ or the ‘Dark Side Epoch’ actually ended on the 21 December 2010. Epochs take time to enter and to leave but already the power dynamics of the old epoch are fading as people become more aware of them and challenge them directly.

The unshakable power of the old epoch is already tapering off and although it can take time for the new structures of the new epoch to take hold, we are exactly at this overlapping point now. The MeToo movement, the Black Lives Matter movement, Occupy Wall Street, the Gay Rights movement, these all have their roots in the new epoch that has already begun and in the new society that is coming. The new epoch has yet to be named, but the breaking down of dualism will form a central part of it and it will abandon hierarchies as societal structures and embrace inclusivity, community, connection and compassion as more valuable than profits and power.

The ruptures and outpouring of hate and turmoil (that had been simmering under the surface for a long time) and the mayhem that seems to be everywhere now is the thrashing resistance of those who will lose their power when the power dynamics of the old epoch finally fade.

When we can identify this darkness, this ruthless power-over with hate, and can say without fear “I see you” to Dark Side, a radical shift occurs; it moves away and recoils. Exposure is like a death to the narcissist and to Dark Side as well. The only power Dark Side has is that which it has wrested from others, it has no innate power of its own. And as more and more people challenge it, it gets weaker and weaker and eventually falls entirely.

What Now?

The best thing for us to do right now is to finish our personal work (clear our trauma), repair and clear any old resentments, fix any repairable relationships, and to step firmly into our personal power.

Once we clear out blockages to who we are in this lifetime, we begin to become aware of who we are at a soul level over many lifetimes. Knowing this helps us to see what we have been trying to achieve over those lifetimes in terms of our purpose, and how we can apply that purpose to our work in the world now. We shall dig in deep into how to embrace this work in a future blog.

The energies on the planet right now have never been more ripe for us to achieve enormous and powerful things for good. It’s an exciting time to be alive, as we collectively bring this new earth into being.
