But once we have carried out our soul contract in this lifetime and experienced the satisfaction that comes with that, we realise that joy and satisfaction are not the same thing.  Satisfaction at fulfilling our purpose in this lifetime is the first step to joy; it creates a private sense of satisfactory conclusion that is rewarding.  But after that, we are also being called to co-create with Source to discover a sense of joy that permeates all of life, and life-force, that is our inherent right as humans to enjoy.  Bliss, believe it or not, is our natural default state.  We access this bliss by stepping into flow with the creative energies that are life itself and by belonging to the excitement and wonder of the life-giving forces around us at all times. Pure joy is co-creating with Source.

If bliss is our default state, why is joy in this world often so elusive?  Why is there deep suffering here?  Because we have become compartmentalised in ourselves, and become disconnected from each other and in society.  The force that compartmentalised us was masculinity without balance; toxic ‘power over’, ‘might makes right’ and the hierarchies that they created.  These forces were the dominant ones in the last epoch and they made us forget who we are and caused enormous suffering throughout the world.

To remember and reconnect with who we truly are is a radical act of kindness and recovery.  To help in this way is to transcend those old forces and to get back into ‘right relationship’ with Source, which is the origin of our life-force and being.

Pre-requisite training

Experience with Shamanic or Constellation healing modalities is not required, but some of these will be taught at the Retreat.  All participants will be expected to have completed at least the majority of their personal healing work and be able to self-regulate and self-soothe.  The premise of this work is spiritual in nature; no religious work is required in advance.  What is required is a personal call to engage deeply in the work, to help discover more about the self and our role in the world at this time.  

Part of the teachings will include an overview of the patriarchal epoch (the hundreds of years where colonialism, capitalism, patriarchy and an extreme departure from animism occurred, resulting in the desecration of life in its various forms, not least to the planet itself) that we technically have just left, and are still leaving in practical terms.

Places on this course are limited. Not everyone will be a good fit for this work. Application forms will be available shortly and confirmation of your place will be sent to you by email. Deposits paid are immediately refundable for those people who, for whatever reason, later decide to withdraw from taking part in the retreat, subject to conditions, below.

If you pay the deposit and find that, through the application process, this is not the retreat for you, a full refund will be refunded 60 days before the retreat start date.  30-60 days before retreat start date, 50% of deposit refunded. 30 days before the retreat start date, full deposit retained. Participants are allowed to offer their place to another person who passes the application process.
