Aligning with who and what we came here to be or do is like stepping into an old familiar pair of shoes: we know the shoes, they feel right to us and we love them.
Doing what we came here to do will feel like we know the work, it will feel right to us and we will love it. There are several universal steps to achieving that kind of life and awareness. These are the main steps:
The lower mind is the least intelligent part of us. It is the 'monkey mind', or the chattering voice that gives a running commentary on our lives, usually without much insight or positive benefit. Learning how to silence the lower mind is about having 'mental discipline', and this brings peace and clarity and removes one of the main blocks to hearing what the body has to say.
Energy simply means 'information that moves' and as everything is made up of energy, so we can read the intelligence of anything to give us information about it. The body is intelligent; infinitely more intelligent than the mind.
If we attempt to build any kind of spiritual practice, it is essential that we build it with our Helping Spirits. It is better to step into the unknown unseen worlds with our spiritual allies as guides and mentors, than without them. Our Helping Spirits answer our questions, give us guidance on direction, help us stay focused on our path and translate sometimes confusing information given by other sources.
Once the emotional, inherited and foreign blocks, and other influences, are identified and cleared from the individual's energetic system, and mental discipline and a spiritual practice are in place, the next step is to allow oneself to step into your power. What does that mean?
Your Soul Contract is the agreement you made with yourself and your guides that outlines what you want to achieve from this life. In it are details about where and to whom you will be born, the potential people to whom you could be married, the processing of unresolved trauma and other issues from other lives, the processing of issues from this life in whatever guise they present, preferred work or vocation, ambitions and dreams, and the desired spiritual path and extent of that pursuit.
Once we have 'stepped into our power' and are following our Soul Contract, we find ourselves staying in the present moment, following our purpose, finding meaning and bliss in our everyday lives. Bliss is the default human state; we clear away blocks and influences in order to get back to that, rather than inventing it or 'trying to find it' outside of ourselves.
